craters


These are some small soft-ground etchings based on pieces of coral collected from beaches over the years. To give you an idea of scale, the small circle is about 1.5 inches in diameter and the egg is about 4 inches tall. I like to think that the small circle could be the lens of a microscope or a telescope. The second circle is a much more literal image of the coral, but I think the third image (the egg) has a little more mystery because the drawing combines multiple viewpoints of a couple of pieces of coral. I hope you enjoy them :)
