I'm looking forward to teaching an intensive four-day summer class in lithography January 22-25, 2013 at Megalo Print Studio. The class coincides with the fantastic
Toulouse-Lautrec exhibition currently on display at the National Gallery of Australia, which features many of Toulouse-Lautrec's groundbreaking lithographic posters. During the class we will cover the basics of drawing, processing and printing from a lithographic stone as well as introducing colour printing. There will be opportunities to experiment with marks inspired by Toulouse-Lautrec, such as his distinct spatter technique, and to receive assistance with individual projects. All levels of experience are welcome. If you have ever been curious to explore the art of lithography this may be your chance!
