I greatly enjoyed the opportunity to work on this illustrated concert program for the Griffyn Ensemble's recent concert, Earth, performed during National Science Week (more info in my previous post). I had the pleasure of attending the beautiful and innovative concert at the CSIRO Discovery Centre where I was overwhelmed seeing the audience members studying my drawings while hearing them brought to life as the talented musicians moved through each movement and/or piece of music.
Below are photos of a few of my favourite pages followed by scans of all the drawings included in the program, which were made using powdered graphite (dry and wet) on hot press watercolour paper.
